i9 Tour Day #1

In accordance with Item9 style, the first day of the tour started in a rush but ended in a party. Meeting up around 8 am at Pete’s place, everyone finished last minute errands. After gathering all merch and gear, the gang, along with Murph and Lindsey, loaded up their gear and gathered at Pete’s parents farm. Once there, Frank gave a run down on the tour rig and Item 9 hit the road. The tour started at 3pm.

A few hours into the tour we stopped close to iowa/nebraska border so we could grab some food and get some gas.  It was uneventful but an enjoyable first stop.

We then finished our trip, going through council bluffs and into Omaha.  We then pulled up to Nick Somers house.  He plays and lives with the other members of the great White Wolf T-shirt, a local Omaha Phenomena. We then listened to them jam.

We then left for venue, setup, Joe Champion opened, it was awesome.

White Wolf T Shirt wore masks, it was glorious.

We played, karaoke after, ladies night, it was alright.

Our new friends at Louis chanted i9 as we drove away, hell yeah.

We then drove through the night to Colorado Springs.
